What’s your role at White Marble?
My duties as a Content Marketing Executive involve producing copy that spans a range of styles, formats and audiences, on behalf of a broad spectrum of asset managers. The role also encompasses some project management responsibilities that extend beyond the conventional ‘Content’ sphere, along with collaboration with clients and the ad hoc copyediting of any work my teammates send my way.
What prior experience do you bring?
Before joining White Marble I worked as a Digital Copywriter for Twinkl, writing copy for their New Zealand domain. My academic background prior to my hiring by Twinkl was in English Literature, with a BA in the subject from the University of Manchester and an MA from Queen’s University Belfast.
What’s your favourite hobby or pastime?
I’m a music lover and play several instruments with varying degrees of proficiency and enthusiasm. You can find me on the hunt for gigs across London.
What’s a fun fact about you?
I spent time studying on the Knoxville campus of the University of Tennessee as an undergraduate, on the edge of the Smoky Mountains.
What’s a pet peeve of yours?
Slow walkers are the bane of my life. Also, the overuse of clichéd phrases, which I avoid like the plague myself.
What can’t you live without?
Probably a cup of coffee in the office each morning – I’ve become a menace for caffeine since moving to London.
