What’s your role at White Marble?

I am a Manager at White Marble, which means I work with our clients to develop effective and differentiated marketing and communications strategies across different channels, audiences and regions. I am also a member of our sustainability team and specifically focus on the social element of our ESG efforts.

What prior experience do you bring?

I started my career in financial services over 20 years ago, first in client relations at Mellon Global Investment (which has since been renamed BNY Mellon) before moving into marketing at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where I worked for 11 years. While employed there I occupied many roles within the company’s marketing function, and most recently led all marketing activities for the EMEA intermediary channel. My latest role before joining WM was as Head of Global Channel Marketing at Unigestion.

What’s your favourite hobby or pastime?

When I am not (badly) attempting to play football or cricket with my boys, I enjoy exploring London’s art scene, spending time with friends – all the better if it’s accompanied by good food and wine – and losing myself in a novel.

What’s a fun fact about you?

I love sleeping and have been told that I’m a deep sleeper. So far, I’ve slept through a thankfully minor earthquake, a storm while sailing and an off-road driving trip in the desert, not to mention the countless times I’ve missed my stop on the train because I was fast asleep.

What’s a pet peeve of yours?

I struggle with people who ask to borrow a book and never return it!

What can’t you live without?

I can’t live without my cup of vanilla tea in the morning. Same mug, same tea, for over 30 years.
