What’s your role at White Marble?
My role at White Marble is UX and UI Designer, supporting clients with their new website designs. We’ll work together on wireframes, accessibility, high-fidelity designs, responsiveness and prototypes for their brand new websites.
What prior experience do you bring?
Prior to joining WM, I was working as a web designer in a digital agency, helping to create websites and creative concepts for the independent education sector in the UK and overseas. I was responsible for all things digital, starting with creative concepts for the school campaign and extending to sketches, shoot planning, copywriting, wireframes, UI options, prototypes, social media thumbnails and templates, and client training.
What’s your favourite hobby or pastime?
There are so many ways to enjoy the day! I like to go to the gym a couple of days per week, plan new craft projects or venture outside for a walk when the weather is lovely!
What’s a fun fact about you?
Last year, as part of my job, I was able to spend nine weeks in the US and two weeks in South East Asia, touring different cities. I felt like a true digital nomad! I’ve been to California, Texas, Massachusetts, Bali and Kuala Lumpur – and I loved it.
What’s a pet peeve of yours?
I know I’m not the only one here – I just can’t stand when a group of people take up the entire width of the pavement to themselves.
What can’t you live without?
A silky and rich cappuccino paired with a slice of crusty, warm bloomer.
