Our Holiday impact
For our holiday card this year we decided to spread some extra cheer and donate to three charities on behalf of our clients and wider network.
Each charity received £795, with a grand total of £2,385 being donated. Read on to learn about the positive impact our donations have had and explore the amazing work these charities are doing.
The UK’s cost of living crisis is causing homelessness to become an increasingly pressing concern for thousands of people across the country. In donating to Crisis, we’re proud to have supported the charity’s wide-ranging efforts to aid the homeless and those at risk of homelessness. The money donated will be used to supply housing, benefits and work to those in need, with the ultimate goal of helping them leave homelessness behind for good. Another crucial asset Crisis helps to supply is emotional wellbeing, as the charity offers a path away from the stress and instability of homelessness for many. The efforts of Crisis also extend beyond support for the individual, in terms of their lobbying to change government policy on everything from benefits and employment to housing law and rough sleeping.
Climate change is a quiet, gnawing source of stress for many. Our donation to climate action charity 350 aided global initiatives to end the age of fossil fuels and build a world of community-led renewable energy for all. These campaigns range from divesting from fossil fuels within local boroughs to just transition movements that span entire countries. Donations to 350 are used to train and support campaigners as they strive to incite change in their local areas – whether in terms of sustainable investing in Japan or just transition legislation in Canada.
Green Schools Alliance
Let's build a sustainable future together! Our contribution to the Green Schools Alliance supports the development of engaging tools and programs, empowering students to take action and lead on sustainability. It also helps the GSA provide START – a powerful cloud-based sustainability benchmarking tool – to schools with limited resources, helping them track progress and strive for a greener future.
