What’s your role at White Marble?
I head up the highly talented team of European Executives and Senior Executives, supporting their development and career progression. I also lead the People and Culture committee, which is responsible for maintaining company culture along with the satisfaction, career progression and support of employees.
I lead most digital marketing projects for White Marble clients, as well as working on large-scale campaigns and helping our clients to deliver a better client experience. I’m the Account Manager for a number of key accounts, which I often support in an outsourced Head of Marketing capacity. A certain amount of my time is also dedicated to business and account growth.
What prior experience do you bring?
I worked for Dimensional Fund Advisors for seven years prior to joining White Marble, where I started in a Presentations capacity and was presented relatively quickly with an opportunity to establish and develop the Marketing Operations department of the EMEA business. From there, I transitioned into heading up the EMEA department as the EMEA Digital Marketing Manager.
Alongside this work, I was also tasked with lead marketing responsibilities on regulatory projects that encompassed an LLP conversion, MIFID 2, GDPR and Brexit. This work afforded me the opportunity to work hand-in-glove with Compliance and function in a Business Analyst capacity.
What’s your favourite hobby or pastime?
Without sounding too much like a clichéd online dating profile, I think I’m a fairly outgoing character. I enjoy most outdoor pursuits and am happy to give anything a go. Currently CrossFit and golf are my regular go-to sporting activities, but I also enjoy football and cricket as well as surfing and winter sports.
What’s a fun fact about you?
I played in the very first competitive football match at the Amex Stadium, where Brighton and Hove Albion football club is based.
What’s a pet peeve of yours?
My pet peeve would probably be slow walkers – don’t they have anywhere to be? I could also nominate Southern Railway, but suspect that it constitutes more than a pet peeve.
What can’t you live without?
I couldn’t live without my little nippers. If I’m ever having a day or round of golf that’s difficult (a common occurrence), their smiling faces never fail to cheer me up!
