Introducing Gabe Altbach as Head of North America as White Marble expands into the US
White Marble has hired Gabriel Altbach as Head of North America and President of our newly-launched US business; White Marble Marketing, Inc. Gabe will be based in White Marble's Boston office, headquarters for our expansion into North America, as well as join the global leadership team
Gabe will bring White Marble's strategic marketing expertise and resource to asset managers operating in the US and Canada. He will partner with executive leadership teams to help them develop efficient, cost-effective and innovative marketing strategies to drive commercial results.
Gabe has spent over 21 years in the global asset and wealth management industry, predominantly in the US, with additional stints in Italy and the UK. His experience spans a wide range of roles, from his start as a Financial Advisor at UBS (then PaineWebber), to serving as Global Head of Strategy and Marketing for Pioneer Global Asset Management and Amundi Asset Management. Prior to joining White Marble, Gabe provided marketing, product and distribution consulting services to the asset management industry through Asset Management Insights LLC, a firm he founded in 2018.

The White Marble offering for the US will reflect the current European offering to help marketers and marketing to be a more strategic, influential function within financial services companies. We do that in three ways through our consultancy, through our learning and training programs, and through a marketing benchmarking service.
With resources under pressure in the US as much as in Europe, finding more flexible solutions to deliver marketing priorities and projects remains paramount. White Marble is a marketing partner that can immediately understand the issues, bring the necessary expertise to own and deliver projects as well as integrate quickly to the inhouse infrastructure. White Marble were already working with a number of US asset managers to help them with their strategic planning and leveraging what we're doing in Europe, so we saw expanding to the US as a great way to service our existing clients better as well as grow our client base in the US.
It's important from a client perspective that there is a consistent White Marble culture, not just in terms of the quality, professionalism and insight of the work, but in the tonality and strength of the working relationship. We want to be pragmatic, pro-active partners with our clients to help them deliver projects that create results.
The global asset manager of today is going to look different in five years' time. White Marble wants to be on that journey with our clients, who are evolving their proposition, responding to more margin pressure, consolidating and needing to compete and demonstrate their differentiation.
