I am an ardent cricket fan, and qualified cricket umpire.
What was your first job?
News reporter at South Africa’s biggest Afrikaans daily newspaper, which involved diverse experiences such as rushing to crime scenes, ensuring that strict judges don’t rebuke you in court and following Celine Dion around.
How did you end up here?
After leaving a corporate job for a break (and the flexibility to travel more!) I worked for myself for three years, doing communications for the financial and professional services sector. I saw White Marble’s post on LinkedIn for a position that sounded just up my street. After some conversations with various members of the team, they (happily) felt the same and here I am today.
What excites you most about your job?
Having the opportunity to convey technical messages and investment ideas into accessible language for a range of audiences.
What is the coolest place you have ever been/ What is your favourite holiday destination?
Coolest place: Sri Lanka, to watch South Africa play cricket – a beautiful country with kind-spirited people who have an incredible passion for cricket. Favourite destination: France. Any day.
What is your favourite dessert?
