Our approach to video production

Discovery
We spend time to understand what types of videos you'd like to produce, which ones will be once-off videos and which will form a content series.
We define the audience of these videos, the key messages they need to convey and what format will they take - live action or animation, length and how they might be shortened for particular channels.

Define video guidelines
We take a look at any past videos you've produced and understand if the new videos should exactly match the past style, or if we want to update the video style.
If needed, we can also produce a set of video guidelines that your firm and partners can use in future when producing videos.

Create a storyboard and content plan
For each video, or video series, we devise a content plan specifying the format, length and key messages the videos should convey.
We then get to work storyboarding how the visuals, voiceovers, scripts and animations should come together.

Shoot video and/or develop animation
Once the storyboard has been finalised we can get to work producing the core content.
This could include on-site video shoots with some of your investment or leadership team, creating animations and recording voice-overs.

Create the first edit
From the raw footage or initial animation we would then produce an initial edit.
We stitch together pieces of the footage to tell a story, apply supers (titles) to people talking, add in transitions, music and 'book-end' your video with an intro and outro that ensures the video has a recognisable branded elements throughout.

Iterate to reach the final edit and snippets
Using your feedback we then amend the initial edit and finalise the core video.
From there, we create the relevant 5, 15, 30 or 60 second snippets for use across various channels and audiences.
